JioCinema Premium is set to launch the much-awaited HBO series, The Penguin, on September 20, bringing Gotham City’s underworld back to life. The eight-episode drama continues the gritty crime saga begun by Matt Reeves in The Batman, following the story of Oswald “Oz” Cobblepot as he ascends to power in Gotham’s criminal world.
Starring Colin Farrell, who reprises his role as Oz from The Batman, the series delves into the psychological complexities of the villain’s ruthless pursuit to become the city’s top crime boss. Farrell’s performance adds a deeper intensity to Cobblepot’s character, positioning him as a formidable force against Gotham’s vigilante hero.
